Insomniac produces some of the most innovative immersive music festivals and events in the world. Enhanced by stateoftheart lighting pyrotechnics and sound design largescale art installations theatrical performers and next generation special effects our events captivate the senses and inspire a unique level of fan interaction. Insomniac produces 10000 concerts club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe. Since its inception Insomniacs events have taken place in 13 countries across five continents. The companys premiere annual event Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas is the worlds largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525000 fans over three days. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Ticketing Manager to oversee ticketing operations ensuring the facilitation between the service center marketing group sales sponsorship and other divisions of Insomniac partners rental facilities and vendors/clients. This position reports to the Ticketing Director and the Event Producer for box office operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain ticketing pages from conception through to settlement for all assigned events including layaway plans and second/third party allocations as applicable
Partner with promoters to proactively suggest additional revenuedriving opportunities where appropriate
Supply daily ticket counts buyer reports and upkeep information on internal tracking programs
Process comp orders for community partners sponsors and other key groups as necessary
Submit design tickets and purchase ticket inventory including wristbands ancillary addons
Manage onsite box office operations including advancing all necessary assets from internal and external groups hiring and managing staff setting up and tearing down in all weather conditions
Create and adhere to operational budgets forecast for all expenses and communicate changes in budget needs to producer team
Ensure compliance to all Company policies and procedures in order to adhere to all audit programs and ensure cash and credentials are protected from loss at all time
Other duties as assigned
Train and provide support in onboarding team members clients vendors and partners when needed
All other projects and initiatives as identified
Frequent travel will be required (economy)
Recruit hire onboarding and train various team members
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced knowledge of ticketing industry and platforms including Front Gate Tickets or similar (Ticketmaster TicketWeb Universe Eventbrite)
Advanced level of Microsoft Excel knowledge including experience with mediumcomplexity formulas (nested VLOOKUPs COUNTIFs etc. PivotTables and other data manipulation tools to create custom reports and extract necessary information from large datasets
3 years experience in largescale festival production and operations
Customer service experience in largescale ticketed events
Excellent organization communication and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and handle lastminute changes with a calm demeanor
Fouryear college degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Must be motivated with an everything is possible attitude
Must be an active problem solver instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
This role is not remote and is required to be on various site locations
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be willing to travel to work during holidays evening and weekend hours as required to meet deadlines
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event locations
Must be able to work in open concept office space
Must be able to lift 50lbs (chairs tables etc.
