You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to lead and oversee electrical installations for a new commercial construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning installing and maintaining electrical systems ensuring compliance with local state and national electrical codes. This role requires strong leadership abilities to supervise electrical teams and coordinate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute electrical installations in commercial new construction projects from start to finish.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate system installations.
Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) state and local regulations.
Perform inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure functionality safety and adherence to project specifications.
Supervise and train electricians apprentices and subcontractors ensuring highquality workmanship.
Plan and coordinate electrical work schedules materials and manpower requirements.
Collaborate with project managers general contractors and other trades to maintain efficient workflow.
Conduct tests on electrical systems and components to detect and resolve malfunctions.
Maintain detailed records of work completed including permits inspections and compliance documentation.
Ensure all work is completed safely following OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master Electrician License (Stateissued valid and in good standing).
1 years of experience as a Master Electrician preferably in commercial new construction.
Extensive knowledge of NEC local codes and industry best practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical documents.
Proficient in using electrical tools testing equipment and diagnostic devices.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting climbing and working in various weather conditions.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
OSHA 10 certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 30 certification.
Proficiency in electrical estimating software and project management tools.
