Berglund Ford part of Berglund Automotive a wellestablished and reputable automotive group with 10 locations representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia is looking for a Parts Counter Specialist.
Job Summary:
The parts counter specialist is responsible for helping customers in person and by phone with parts questions and orders. Offering accurate price quotes and upholding a consistent standard of service is an integral part of this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start tofinish.
- Communicate with customer on partsstatus.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
- Answers phone calls providing price quotes and otherinformation.
- Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- Pulls and fills orders fromstock.
- Maintain a weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
- Notifies parts manager of outofstock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locates outofstock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order if necessary.
- Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
- Set up orders for daily shipment delivery orpickup.
Qualifications
- Have a High School Diploma orequivalent.
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred).
- Ford experience a plus!
- Can work in a fastpaced workenvironment.
- Have strong organizational and time managementskills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
