We are seeking a new team player to fill our Material Handling Lead position available at our Lavergne TN location Benefit Package Offered:Employee offered standard company benefit package to include medical dental vision term life insurance accidental death benefits and eligibility to participate in a safe harbor 401(k) plan.
- Adequate production supply is delivered to the appropriate line within three hours of proposed start time based on production schedule
- Thorough knowledge of active items and components
- Use of SAP to review BOM requirements
- Goods are delivered to designated drop zones for each area
- Product containers are all clearly marked with correct legible sku
- Product counts are accurate and up to date
- Product locations are accurate and up to date
- Production floor is kept clear of excess or unneeded material
- Promote a safe work environment through adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations as well as company safety policies and standards.
- Ensure all employees comply with corporate policies and procedures.
- Participate in cycle counts as well as periodic inventory
- Forklift Trainer Certified
- Excellent understanding of inventory best practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to direct the work of others and effectively lead a team of contemporaries
- Excellent mathematic and logic skills
- 2 or more years driving sitdown / stand up forklift experience
