Job Description: 1.0 FTE position reporting to the principal to work as the 1st grade general education teacher. The teacher would be responsible for instruction and assessment in the core subjects of Math Science English Language Arts Social Studies and Religion while fostering a positive classroom community. The ideal candidate has experience teaching elementary school is organized engaging and aware of how to support diverse learners in a classroom setting.
Qualifications:
Washington State Certificate (elementary) (required)
Experience teaching at the elementary K5 level (required)
Catholic (preferred)
MA or equivalent (preferred)
Demonstrates a solid understanding of Common Core Standards
Ability to communicate with students parents and the school community
Desire to be part of an elementary school team
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee teaching responsibilities for 1st grade and other responsibilities as determined and assigned by the Principal and Vice Principal
Synthesize data to support academic growth
Effectively communicate academic growth and progress with parents and administrators
Scaffold learning to support students reaching and exceeding grade level benchmarks Common Core Standards and Archdiocesan religion standards
Work within a Professional Learning Community to support school and student growth
Oversee the 1st grade classroom community including social emotional learning growth and support
Participate in school and Archdiocesan professional development as determined by the principal and vice principal
Adhere to all school and Archdiocesan policies

Compensation:$64109$114527 for a 1.0 FTE Certificated teacher in the State of Washington. Any offered salary is determined based on a predetermined salary schedule internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certification.
