Summer Event Coordinator Full Time Temporary

Are you an Indigenous student looking for a fun work opportunity for the summer Makola Housing Society (Makola) is looking for one 1 Summer Event Coordinator to join the team for the summer to plan and execute fun events all over the province! You will be barbecuing for tenants playing games with the children and driving to various locations.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Housing Operations (SDHO) the Summer Event Coordinator will be responsible for the Makola Summer Tenant Appreciation Event program by creating preparing and executing exciting events in each region across the province. The Summer Tenant Appreciation Event program is intended to celebrate the community in which we serve show appreciation to our tenants and get to know our tenants on a personal level. The Summer Event Coordinator will be responsible for connecting with tenants directly to determine what kind of event they would appreciate creating a plan and making it happen!
This position is a temporary 3month term starting June 2 2025 until August 29 2025 for a student currently enrolled in a college or university course. The schedule is Monday Friday 8:30am 4:00pm based out of the Head Office in Langford when not travelling. This positions wage is $21.00 per hour.
