Description:
Join ICES on a contract impacting national security as a Configuration Management Analyst
These positions are located inSpringfield VA.All positions require an active/currentTS/SCI securityclearanceand be willing and able to pass an additionalpolygraphas needed.
As aConfiguration Management Analyst specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties:
- Develop and recommend strategies to optimize system configuration procedures.
- Performing research and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of current systems.
- Implement solutions in problem areas and create configuration policies and regulations to improve workflow.
- Provide support by assisting in installation troubleshooting upgrading and performing regular maintenance checks on systems.
- Serve as an intermediary between decision makers and management teams to track testing performance conduct process mapping and identify internal inefficiencies.
- Develop and present effective technical presentations to senior management and to technical/nontechnical audiences; must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.
Required:
- Bachelors degree or 6 years of experience in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Engineering or Business or other related fields.
- Capable of working individually collaboratively and report to a department head.
- Contributes to complex aspects of projects and conduct root cause problem analysis to develop technical solutions.
- Juniorlevel experience in the field of Configuration Management Analysis or related fields with the skills to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
- 4 years of experience in one or more disciplines of Computer Science Computer Information Systems Engineering or Business or other related fields.
