Canterra Group has partnered with one of Western Candas top residential Construction Management firms to assist in the confidential search for a Senior Superintendent to oversee large multifamily projects 50 stories plus in the Burnaby area. About the Opportunity:
We are seeking aSenior Superintendentto lead the onsite construction ofconcrete highrise residential projectsin Burnaby up to 50 stories. As a key leader on the project team you will oversee all aspects of site operations ensuring projects are delivered safely on schedule and with the highest level of quality. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and has extensive experience managing highrise residential projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects ofhighrise residential construction ensuring projects meet quality schedule and budget expectations.
Lead and coordinate site activities managing subcontractors suppliers and onsite personnel.
Ensure strict adherence tohealth safety and environmental regulations fostering a culture where safety is a top priority.
Work closely withproject managers engineers and stakeholdersto maintain workflow efficiency and resolve construction challenges.
Conductregular site inspections enforce quality control and ensure compliance with BC Building Codes.
Maintain accuratedaily reports project schedules and site documentationto track progress and manage timelines.
Act as a mentor and leader motivating and guiding site teams to ensure seamless project .
What You Bring:
20 years of experiencein multifamily residential construction with at least10years as a superintendentleading highrise projects.
Proven expertise inconcrete highrise construction20 stories).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.
Indepth knowledge ofBC Building Codes safety regulations and highrise construction best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot think critically and solve problems under pressure.
Proficiency inconstruction management softwareand scheduling tools.
Valid drivers licenseand ability to travel to project sites as required.
