Job Description
On behalf of Charter Australias partnered aged care service providers Charter Australia is recruiting Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
As an AIN you will make a positive impact on the lives of the older people with your compassionate and supportive approach;
As an AIN you will make a positive impact on the lives of the older people with your compassionate and supportive approach;
- assist clients with their personal care needs such as showering dressing and eating
- Assist clients with their mobility and communication needs
- participate in planning the care of individuals
- follow therapy plans such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioural problems
- observe and report changes in clients condition and report complaints about care
- assist with rehabilitation exercises basic treatment and delivering medications
- provide direct support and assistance to therapists
Requirements
- Charter Australias enrolled students in Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
- Have completed all of classroom training and assessments but pending work placement before being able to graduate.
- Ability to start ASAP.
