Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide highquality care to our clients. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients functional abilities develop treatment plans and provide therapy to help clients improve their physical cognitive and motor skills and abilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of evidencebased practices and be able to work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients functional abilities and needs
Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and needs
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to help clients improve their physical cognitive and motor skills
Collaborate with clients families and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
Document clients progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
Stay uptodate with current research and evidencebased practices in occupational therapy
Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Strong understanding of evidencebased practices and ability to apply them in practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clients families and other healthcare professionals
Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
