A new Senior FPGA Design Engineer VHDL job has recently come available with an established research and development company in Linlithgow Scotland just west of Edinburgh.
They have been running for 16 years and have been growing significantly over recent years. The growth continues with an additional requirement for a SeniorFPGA Design Engineer. Their offices are commutable from parts of Edinburgh Glasgow Stirlingand Falkirk and they generally work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The successful hire will be involved in making architectural decisions about the hardware design and the FPGAs used and will work closely with the larger R&D team.
Key skills / experience required for the Senior FPGA Design Engineer VHDL job:
- Strong experiencewith highspeed FPGA designs in VHDL
- Ability and experience in designing products from initial specification through to prototype phase
- Ability to define architectures from a product specification
- The ability to solve complex technical problems
