Know it matters. Reinsurance Finance function in India primarily supports the quarterly closing and reporting process of Reinsurance Business. There are different subprocesses performed by Reinsurance Financial reporting team in India which includes but is not limited to: Quarter end Close Reporting Reconciliation Planning Business Analysis processes etc. This position will be supporting the Bermuda Reinsurance business.

What will your essential responsibilities include
Responsible for leading the Bermuda Reinsurance Financial Reporting team.
Responsible for Reinsurance Financial planning accounting and reporting activities.
Responsible for driving and preparing Quarterly Income Statement Pack and Balance Sheet Pack monthly/quarterly reconciliations which include but is not limited to Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.
Support Legal Entity & Regulatory reporting work.
Responsible for preparing reviewing and posting (if needed) journal entries.
Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.
Keeping the flexibility in reports to incorporate any highlevel adjustments or structural changes from stakeholders.
Develops and maintains process documentation.
Drive continuous/ process improvement and special projects.
Knowledge of Enterprise Finance Reporting (EFR) Qlik & HFM / SmartView IFRS 17 will be an added advantage.
Support Adhoc activities.
You will report to Senior Manager Reinsurance Financial Reporting.

Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
Qualified CA with relevant experience or MBA Finance with relevant experience in Financial Accounting & Internal reporting.
Excellent Accounting knowledge preferably on IFRS Reviewing Journal Entries Income Statement Analysis Balance Sheet analysis and commentary Financial Planning & Analysis etc.
Should have relevant years of experience in directly handling a team. Responsible for running the monthly/quarterly oneonones and annual performance appraisals.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Enterprise Finance Reporting (EFR) QlikView Power BI & HFM / SmartView IFRS 17 will be an added advantage.
Should have excellent MS Excel skills.
Able to work and communicate effectively as part of a crossgeographic crossorganizational and crosscultural team.
Excellent team player and ability to work selfdirectedly.
Excellent customerfocus and results orientation.
