You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailJob Summary: Provides exceptional courteous and rapid service to the guests on the golf course and acts as an oncourse concierge providing information about the course and the Tahoe area.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Because of the fluctuating demands of the Clubs operation it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore as an essential part of your job you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly you may be expected to perform other tasks not specifically addressed above.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works outside and is exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements of the Job: (see attached)
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands to handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education/Experience: Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or coworkers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests or members of the community. Must display professional demeanor and always communicate in professional language.
Certificates/Licenses/Safety Training: State accredited Alcohol Training Certification is required within 30 days of employment. Drivers License. Golf Cart Safety.
