Job Description
Shrine Catholic Grade School is located in Royal Oak MI at the corner of 12 Mile Rd and Woodward Avenue. Shrine Catholic Schools have been providing the highest quality Catholic education to the surrounding communities since 1938. Shrine Catholic Grade School is seeking caregivers to be substitutes for our Early Childhood Center and in our Grade School.
Job Description
Work alongside the teacher or aide to assist with a variety of tasks contributing to safe and effective classroom operation in preschool when one of the regular faculty or staff members is not able to be in the classroom.
Follow all licensing guidelines and adhere to all school policies and procedures to ensure exceptional daily care and educational experiences for each child.
Qualifications
A love of young children and passion about our Catholic faith
Demonstrate interest in child development; completion of professional development on child care and child development is required each year.
Must successfully complete State of Michigan required Criminal Background Check and fingerprinting.
Must have completed or be willing to complete Protecting Gods Children training.
CPR/First Aid training is a plus but must be willing to become certified within 90 days of hire.Applications will be reviewed through July and interviews will begin during the first week of August.
