The Residence Hall/Systems Manageris responsible for planning and overseeing the divisions daily operations ensuring that goals and objectives are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage divisional reporting staff schedules production operations and ensure compliance with university policies while fostering a supportive and engaging residential community.
Responsibilities
- Manage divisional reporting and strategic planning.
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff.
- Plan and organize daily activities related to production and operations.
- Measure productivity by analyzing performance data financial data and activity reports.
- Assist with budget preparation for the operations unit.
- Prepare and update the organizations operations manual and policies.
- Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments.
- Monitor daily operations and address potential issues proactively.
- Build processes to meet business objectives and ensure compliance.
- Develop and manage residence hall communities providing educational and personal support for students.
- Respond to student concerns and behaviors and advise student organizations.
- Manage facility and administrative tasks related to campus life.
- Implement strategies to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget for housing operations.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and optimize resources.
- Maintain accurate records related to housing operations including occupancy rates and maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with college policies regulations and legal requirements related to housing.
Education
- Bachelors degree in business management Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Extensive knowledge of operations and production management. Experience in developing residence hall communities student support facility management and campus life is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of related experience is required.
- Ability to run bend squat and walkin allweather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work holidays weekends and nights.
