Covia is looking for a dynamic Specialty Plant Operator who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Black Lab Fresno location in Fresno TX.
The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:
- Wear negativepressure half face piece respirator and other PPE while following safe work rules
- Weigh and measure raw materials according to detailed blend sheet
- Load materials into mixer manually and with forklift
- Prepare and affix labels for packaging
- Package palletize ship and receive products
- Practice preventative maintenance at all times
- Inform management of any problems with meeting daily customer requirements
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Work with silica cement fly ash and other materials or chemicals
- Other duties may be assigned
The successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- Safety awareness
- Basic knowledge of mathematics
- Good timemanagement skills
- Detail oriented
- Dependable
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis throughout the workday
