Job Description
- To oversee and manage nationwide maintenance engineering and project operations ensuring optimal equipment reliability plant efficiency and adherence to safety quality and regulatory standards.
- To lead the planning and management of engineering projects to support operational and business growth.
- Maintenance
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Lead and supervise local maintenance teams to ensure the effective implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets cost control measures and resource allocation.
- Ensure the timely repair and servicing of machinery equipment and infrastructure.
- Standardize maintenance procedures across all locations.
- Work closely with the production and operations teams to optimize plant reliability and efficiency.
- Project Management
- Plan coordinate and execute engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple facilities.
- Oversee project timelines budgets and resource allocation to ensure successful completion.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards safety regulations and company policies.
- Engineering
- Develop and implement engineering best practices to improve operational efficiency in coordination with efficiency department
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and automation solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and sustainability.
- Ensure engineering solutions align with longterm business objectives.
- Work with R&D efficiency manager and production teams to optimize process efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering or a related field. Or suitable experience in similar position.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering and project management preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in leading maintenance teams managing largescale engineering projects and optimizing plant operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High personal safety standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively.
