Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead supervise and support vessel and tank shop personnel.
- Address and resolve employee concerns related to job duties and expectations.
- Assist in onboarding and training new employees ensuring alignment with company quality policies and procedures.
Production & Process Efficiency
- Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency quality and ontime delivery.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize scheduling and workflow.
- Identify process improvements and material defects implementing solutions to enhance production quality.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Partner with inspectors to ensure all quality records are completed accurately.
- Enforce company safety standards and promptly report any incidents.
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
Engineering & Drafting Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and drafting teams to ensure designs are executed efficiently in production.
- Provide feedback on fabrication designs to improve manufacturing outcomes.
What Were Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in fabrication oil or engineering environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Ability to identify and resolve material defects and process inefficiencies.
- Willingness to work a varied schedule as needed.
