Job Description
KCR Solutions are delighted to be assisting our client a manufacturing company based near Durham in their search for an experienced Part Qual Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Person Specification
Knowledge and Skills
Responsibilities:
- Producing monthly reports figures and statistics
- Supporting the Financial Controller in production of the endtoend monthly management accounts.
- Production of monthly accruals prepayments and journals
- Supporting of the month end and year end processing procedures
- Daily posting of the bank statements and reconciliation of banks in line with cash management procedures
- Liaise with third parties including banks HMRC auditors and other stakeholders
- Prepare and submit Quarterly VAT Returns
- Purchase Sales and Nominal Ledgers
- Creation of weekly supplier payment run
- Undertake any and all other duties as the business requires in line with the responsibilities of the role as may reasonably be requested from time to time
- 37.5 hour week
Person Specification
- At least years experience in a similar finance role is essential
- AAT Level 4 qualification or working towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualificati
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good numerical skills are essential e.g. the ability to work with ratios percentages and understand businesscritical measures e.g. direct and indirect costs margin turnover profit etc.
- Experience of using ERP systems preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team is essential
- Ability to remain selfmotivated and to conclude work to a high standard especially when faced with challenges is essential
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Good attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work is essential
- Good interpersonal skills are essential
