KCR Solutions are delighted to be assisting our client a manufacturing company based near Durham in their search for an experienced Part Qual Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Producing monthly reports figures and statistics
Supporting the Financial Controller in production of the endtoend monthly management accounts.
Production of monthly accruals prepayments and journals
Supporting of the month end and year end processing procedures
Daily posting of the bank statements and reconciliation of banks in line with cash management procedures
Liaise with third parties including banks HMRC auditors and other stakeholders
Prepare and submit Quarterly VAT Returns
Purchase Sales and Nominal Ledgers
Creation of weekly supplier payment run
Undertake any and all other duties as the business requires in line with the responsibilities of the role as may reasonably be requested from time to time

Person Specification
At least years experience in a similar finance role is essential
AAT Level 4 qualification or working towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualificati
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent customer service skills are essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good numerical skills are essential e.g. the ability to work with ratios percentages and understand businesscritical measures e.g. direct and indirect costs margin turnover profit etc.
Experience of using ERP systems preferred
Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team is essential
Ability to remain selfmotivated and to conclude work to a high standard especially when faced with challenges is essential
Ability to manage competing priorities
Good attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work is essential
