We are seeking a talented and versatile JuniorFullStack Developer with a strong emphasis on backend development and a comprehensive understanding of frontend technologies to join our innovative team. As a Senior FullStack Developer you will play a pivotal role in architecting developing and optimizing both backend and frontend components of our platform. Founded in Israel in 2010 Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv Plano Toronto Vancouver London Amsterdam and Tbilisi.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Lead the endtoend design of features from the architectural phase through development to deployment in production.
- Develop scalable backend solutions using microservices architecture.
- Build distributed systems using modern frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of system design and knowledge of system design patterns.
- Utilize your expertise in databases including SQL and NoSQL technologies to write efficient queries.
- Design and develop APIs to enable seamless communication between different components of the system.
- Conduct code reviews mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and actively participate in code reviews.
- Lead by example ensuring high standards of code quality and fostering a positive and proactive attitude within the team.
- Ability to multitask organize and prioritize work effectively.
About you
- A minimum of 1 year of backend development experience with a solid foundation in frontend technologies.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and experience building distributed systems.
- Understanding of databases including SQL and NoSQL.
- Expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript HTML and CSS; experience with frameworks like Vue.js is an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of API design and development.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Proven experience leading by example with a commitment to high standards of code quality.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
