Employment:Fulltime Hourly Flat Rate

Position Overview:
Courtesy Chevrolet Fleet Service is seeking a dedicated and motivated professional who has a passion for cars to join our team as a GM Certified Technician.You will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of customers vehicles and provide repair recommendations to service advisors.
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines steering brakes suspension transmission and air conditioning with minimal supervision.
- Handle heavy engine vehicle repairs during the initial appointment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Safely care for vehicles until returned to the Service Advisor or customer.
- Read and comprehend written instructions and information.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer competencies.
- Positive friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality.
- Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
- Own basic set tools for the job.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a GM technician
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to preemployment drug screen and background check.
