Senior Cloud Accountant
Location: Blackburn North West England
Salary:(dependent on experience)
Hours: Fulltime Monday Friday (Flexible/Hybrid working available)
Are you a skilled accounting professional with a passion for cloudbased solutions Our clients Blackburn office is seeking a Senior Cloud Accountant to lead and grow within our awardwinning firm. The Role
As a Senior Cloud Accountant you will:
- Oversee and review outsourcing tasks such as bookkeeping VAT returns and payment runs using cloudbased tools like Xero and Dext.
- Prepare and review management information budgets and cashflows.
- Lead the preparation of yearend accounts and corporate tax returns.
- Manage and deliver cloud accounting projects including system migrations and client health checks.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members fostering professional growth and teamwork.
- Provide client training on cloud accounting software and act as a trusted adviser.
- Support client onboarding and contribute to internal projects to enhance service delivery.
- Research and implement innovative cloud accounting solutions to add value to client services.
What Were Looking For
- Approximately 5 years of accountancy practice experience.
- Expertise in Xero and other cloud accounting platforms.
- AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification (completed or in progress).
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication organisation and clientfocused skills.
