Shift: PRN Position 48 hours month required) 12hour shifts 7am 7pm and 7pm 7am weekend shift varies
Location: Travel between four 4 and 10 Emory locations within Emory Healthcare Locations
Salary: $27.25

We are seeking a capableEmergency Room Float Techwho Performs a variety of clinical tasks to better facilitate patient care by directly assisting nursing and physician staff.
- IV insertion and placement of a foley catheter.
- Performs and documents vital signs notifies triage nurse or physician on duty possibly critical patients communicates as appropriate to waiting room patients.
- Conducts needs analysis to determine need for supplies based on ED volume.
- Monitors stock and supplies to ensure par levels are maintained.
- Ensures that physician orders are accurately entered into the computer.
- Answers phones and direct inquiries as appropriate. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited EMT or Paramedic training program.
- 2 1/2 years of related experience.
- 1year minimum Previous ED experience preferred.
- Must have current certification as an EMTI or Paramedic AHA CPR and AHA ACLS if Paramedic.
