You will be responsible for the maintaining softwaresystem and resolve issues of customers accounts or infrastructure. Troubleshooting problem resolution is the core of the Technical Support role. Provide Technical support and address Customer queries quickly to get it into root of their problem which is one of the core skills a Technical Support is expected to possess.
Managing requirements both at the project level and stakeholder level are vital in fulfilling business needs.
  • Monitoring system software
  • Troubleshooting diagnosis resolution and escalation

  • Ensuring Bugsare resolved within time bound and recorded in database.


Requirements

Skills & Tools:
  • Well versed with SQL and UNIX commands
  • Good Communication & written English skills
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Positive attitude towards learning new things
  • Sense of ownership
  • Excellentproblemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Uptodate knowledge of the latest IT and software trends.
  • Strong Multitasking skills
  • Exposure of Windows/Linux/Oracle database system serverenvironments

Job Responsibility what will you do
  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeingproblems through to resolution.
  • Researching diagnosing troubleshooting and identifyingsolutions to resolve system issues.
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation ofunresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand theroot of the problem.
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution withinagreed time limits.
  • Talk clients through a series of actions either via phoneemail or chat until theyve solved a technical issue.
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internalteams (e.g. software developers).
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fullyfunctional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes andmanuals.

Desired Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer orsimilar role
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Work in shift & roster 365x7 environments)
