Job Description
- Monitoring system performance and identifying problems that arise.
- Responding in a timely manner to userreported errors.
- Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access.
- Ensuring that the database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss.
- Reporting on metrics regarding usage and performance.
- Recommend changes and improvements to maintain or protect the database.
- Regularly communicate with IT project managers and database programmers.
- Database design with frontend and backend users.
- Extracting and/or loading data
- Implement cyber security measures
- Ensure that all hardware and software are up to date
- Validate data
Requirements
- A bachelors diploma in pc technological knowhow or a associated field.
- Advanced certification as an MCDBA or MCSD for .NET is advantageous.
- A minimal of three years revel in as a database administrator.
- Proficiency in records manipulation languages together with MS SQL Oracle Database Hadoop or PostgreSQL.
- Analytical attitude and exact problemfixing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written conversation skills.
- Highly prepared and responsible.
- Capable of running below pressure.
- Uptodate with developments and trends in database administration.
