Shift: .9 Night Shift Sunday Saturday to include weekends and holidays
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our healthcare team in Glen Burnie. In this role you will provide direct patient care while demonstrating clinical expertise and leadership in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Mentor and guide less experienced nursing staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unitbased projects
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 23 years of clinical nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and patient care
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and healthcare protocols
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in fastpaced healthcare environments
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to mentor and guide other nursing staff
- Physical capability to perform essential nursing functions
