Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Configuration Engineer to join our team in Hazelwood MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze engineering design manufacturing and product support requirements and applies industry standard analysis methods and techniques to improve and optimize solutions for complex engineering and manufacturing processes throughout the value stream

• Develops documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical data regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control

• Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements

• Develop and implement program transition plans to improve existing processes and optimize the effective application of new tool technology

• Analyze specific product configurations and requirements for completeness and functional physical build and support integration status

• Work under general direction

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science

• 5 years engineering experience with a Bachelors OR 3 years with a Masters OR PhD related work experience

• 2 years of experience with Configuration Management and/or Data Management

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master3 years related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
