USADA is seeking a dedicated and driven person to help our organization fulfill its mission to Stand with athletes to champion their right to clean sport inspire true and healthy sport and promote the integrity of sport. This is an incredibly exciting time to join Team USADA as we continue to grow our AntiDoping program and work to support major international competitions such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024 (Paris) 2026 (Milan) and 2028 (Los Angeles). New team members will have the chance to help ensure USADA is wellpositioned in the near and long term for these opportunities as we look to the future with our efforts to protect clean athletes. With the 2028 Games on domestic soil there will also be opportunities and growth potential over the years for USADA team members to underpin the organizing committees commitment to a clean Games.

TrueSport a movement powered by the experience and values of the U.S. AntiDoping Agency champions the positive values and life lessons learned through youth sport. Backed by U.S. Congressional mandate TrueSport inspires athletes coaches parents and administrators to change the culture of youth sport through active engagement and thoughtful curriculum based on cornerstone lessons of sportsmanship characterbuilding and clean and healthy performance while also creating leaders across communities through sport.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Athlete & Event Coordinator supports the USADA/TrueSport mission through the identification development implementation and oversight of all TrueSport events and program engagement. Serves as the coordinator for partner program activation and integration athlete ambassador engagement inventory development and distribution and event planning and activation. Supports leadership in the ongoing evaluation and review of TrueSport communications and content sharing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and vet strategic opportunities for TrueSports presence at events and conferences which may include coordinating presentations for representatives (e.g. ambassadors staff) delivering presentations and/or managing a booth.
  • Manage booth and event engagement logistics including internal event programming as well as partnership programming with sport camps youth sport organizations athletic clubs/teams and other TrueSport program targets ensuring effective communication with event hosts and venues arranging for relevant and engaging onsite materials and activities pre/post onsite logistic preparation and connecting with event participants.
  • Travel as necessary to events and conferences and interact with participants to generate enthusiasm for and an understanding of TrueSport; and deliver presentations about TrueSport to stakeholder audiences.
  • Develop criteria for athlete ambassador/advocate engagement working closely with other USADA departments to ensure athlete engagement at TrueSport camps clubs events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with TrueSport team in the development and distribution of inventory including lesson resources and promotional elements (e.g. Posters banners postcards branded promotional items etc. and the TrueSport store.
  • Coordinate the TrueSport Athlete Ambassador program including the identification vetting and recruitment of athletes; relationship management; annual contract review; budget development and tracking; orientation and training; and work closely with other USADA departments to ensure athlete engagement at TrueSport camps clubs events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop Athlete Ambassador content and work with Athlete Ambassadors to assist in the creation of videos blogs Q&A social media and other general content pieces.
  • Cultivate organic streams of TrueSport reach and awareness by actively engaging Athlete Ambassador networks.
  • Coordinate annual training and orientation of Ambassadors to familiarize them with TrueSport operations and programming educate on delivery and of TrueSport lessons and build collaborative relationships through facilitated discussions on trending topics of importance to TrueSport.
  • Collaborate with the TrueSport team to support the development of program strategy and direction.
  • Contribute to the ongoing production and revision of TrueSport content.
  • Maintain understanding of TrueSport assets and determine ways to leverage such assets.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness efficiency and success of the various components of TrueSport programs through the tracking and analysis of key metrics.
  • Continually evaluate the organizations approach to educational programming and identify program needs to refine programming based on relevant and effective education and communication strategies.
  • Keep abreast of advancements and changes pertinent to youth sports and the TrueSport program.
  • Identify obstacles or opportunities within the department and create solutions or plans to revise or pivot as necessary.
  • Projects and other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS / BA Degree in a sportrelated field kinesiology physical education coaching education sport/exercise science sport/event management or similar field OR 4 years equivalent and applicable experience.
  • Minimum Two 2 years of professional experience working with athletes in event coordination/management communications or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with various levels of management.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Values Integrity Justice & Respect among internal and external constituents.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed up to 20.
  • Moderate proficiency in MS Programs (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Event coordination and/or management experience.
  • Education/facilitation/coaching or other related experience.
  • Work experience in athletics and sport.
  • Experience working with parents young athletes and coaches.
Compensation: $19.00 $26.00 per hour



The U.S. AntiDoping Agency (USADA) is recognized as the national antidoping organization for Olympic Paralympic Pan American and Parapan American sport in the United States. The recognition tasks USADA with drugtesting and results management responsibilities for these athletes however USADA is equally dedicated to preserving the integrity of sport through research initiatives and educational programs that inspire a commitment to true sport in the next generation of athletes.

USADAs office is located near the Rocky Mountain foothills of northwest Colorado Springs Colorado a city that is home to the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and numerous Olympic and Paralympic sport national governing bodies.
