The Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering at LMU invites applicants to apply for a tenuretrack position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. With a long history of excellence in electrical engineering education the department has recently expanded to include degree programs in computer engineering (BSE and MSE). We seek to hire an innovative teacherscholar to bolster these new degree programs.
In line with the university mission our faculty are teacherscholars working to advance the university beyond instruction by integrating science technology engineering and math with Ignatian pedagogy to create deep student learning. Small class sizes foster an inclusive environment and create a space for innovative teaching practices. An integrated twoyear design sequence and stateoftheart laboratory equipment make possible meaningful handson learning experiences for our students. Targeted funding creates unique opportunities for faculty to mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research. We seek the next generation of missiondriven teacherscholars to join our faculty.
