Job Description
The Dean of the School of Business at McMurry University is responsible for providing strategic leadership academic oversight and operational management for the School of Business. The Dean reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and works collaboratively with faculty staff and administration to advance the mission and goals of the university.
Required Qualifications
Masters Degree. Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience in higher education. Demonstrated administrative and leadership experience in an academic setting. Industry Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Earned terminal degree (Ph.D. DBA or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the School of Business Prior experience as a department chair associate dean or similar leadership role. Experience with accreditation processes and academic program assessment. Proven record of scholarship faculty mentorship and community engagement. Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies including online and hybrid instruction.
