Annual Giving Specialist

Position Summary
This position is responsible for annual giving fundraising and donor engagement activities for the foundation and/or programs specific to hospital entities within their assigned region. In addition to supporting the Foundations annual campaigns the specialist will be expected to maintain a portfolio and solicit gifts up to $10000 from individuals foundations and corporations on an ongoing basis building relationships with prospects and existing donors through oneonone interactions. The specialist will be involved with oversee donor engagement strategies for their assigned region including affinity groups cultivation events and volunteer fundraising. This position will also play a significant role in identifying annual fund donors who are ready to move into the major gift program.
Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
And
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Experience
3 Years Experience in volunteer fund development and management Required
or
3 Years Marketing/Sales experience Required
Direct fund solicitation experience Preferred
Skills
Excellent written and verbal skills in addition to proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively articulate the mission/vision of the Foundation and the entities we represent and demonstrated experience in working with individuals who have philanthropic capacity.
