Its multiconcept portfolio is uniquely positioned to cater to different markets while staying true to its core values distinct aesthetics worldclass service and palpable atmosphere ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking an energetic responsible intern with an interest in branding graphics web & packaging design to join our organization for the Summer of 2025. The Creative Intern is an aspiring designer and creative professional. They will work with the Creative department to develop creative presentations signage and graphics for The h.wood Group. This internship will help acquire and develop creative skills and provide the intern with knowledge of various creative strategies and processes. RESPONSIBILTIES: - Assist with daily administrative duties.
- Create decks for brand guides and pitches that support various phases of a creative project.
- Work closely with lead designer to create clear engaging graphics while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Reformat images for web optimization.
- Work on all aspects of the design process including layout typography color etc.
- Study and learn brand style guide.
- Update menus and help create promotional material.
- Stay up to date with current aesthetic practices.
- Support the Creative team with projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: - Must be 18 years of age
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate course of graphic design or similar field
- Web design experience (Squarespace WordPress Shopify) preferred
- Must have passion for Creative Design
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator InDesign.
- Creative with a strong eye for good aesthetic and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize department needs
