Star Group a familyowned Tier 1 electrical communications and maintenance contractor is looking for a dynamic FP&A Business Partner to lead financial strategy and drive informed decisionmaking across the business.
As an FP&A Business Partner youll play a vital role in supporting budgeting forecasting and financial analysis while providing strategic insights through data visualisation and collaboration. Youll work closely with project divisional and executive teams shaping financial strategies that contribute to Star Groups continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Prepare detailed financial reports and variance analysis
- Utilize data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI to deliver actionable insights
- Provide strategic support for longterm planning and investment analysis
- Collaborate with the CEO Board and Executive team on special projects and business initiatives offering financial guidance and recommendations.
- Monitor financial risks including tracking project costs revenue forecasts and cash flow.
- Continuously improve financial processes and reporting systems for operational efficiency and better decisionmaking.
What Were Looking For:
- 3 years in FP&A business analytics or management accounting
- Bachelors degree in business accounting finance or related field
- Accounting qualification (e.g. CA CPA) or studying towards completion
- Strong proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and financial reporting tools
- Proficiency in accounting systems and data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau and Power BI for automation and reporting
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations
- Adaptable and collaborative with a passion for driving business performance
