Key Responsibilites: - Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe/ hazardous conditions and/ or defective equipment to Manager. Reports all incidents/accidents no matter how minor to Manager.
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee espresso drinks blended coffees or teas.
- Clean or sanitize work areas utensils or equipment.
- Check temperatures of freezers refrigerators or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning..
- Receive stock supplies and products.
- Create signs to advertise store products or events.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have knowledge of the fundamentals of dining operational procedures and etiquette.
SPECIAL DEMANDS: Possesses a genuine interest in caring for and serving older adults while participating as a team player.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands or walks most of working shift. Bends reaches lifts or carries supplies china glasses and utensils. Performs light physical work exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 20 pounds of force on an occasional basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Required: Must be able to read write speak and follow written and oral directions in English. High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required.
Experience: At least one 1 year experience in the coffee service or food and beverage industry preferred.
Employment Variables: Flexible schedules are required at times to meet Fleet Landings needs.
Supervision: Reports to the Dining Services Manager
WORKING CONDITIONS: Sit stands and walks intermittently during workday. Subject to frequent interruptions. Deals with public and personnel under all conditions.
