ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated excellent customer service. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. Proficiency in organization and effective task prioritization. Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as dictated by business needs.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent is preferred. One 1 or more years of recent and related hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: No decision making is required beyond scope of essential duties
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS: Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong attention to detail and maintaining accuracy in a fast paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting. Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion including frequent brisk walking climbing stairs bending stretching reaching pushing kneeling squatting crouching stooping and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties may involve working in a small area with floors that may become slippery in the process of preparing food and drinks. Essential duties require lifting trays plates pots pans and other cooking utensils. Essential duties include lifting up to 30 pounds to stack store or move kitchen restaurant or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek including weekends and holidays with additional hours routinely required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$17.00 based on experience plus tips
