Job Description

Clemson Universitys Bioengineering Department is seeking applicants for atenuretrack faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the areas of Biomedical Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Biomedical and Health Informatics or Multivariate Analysis. This would include areas such as machine learning deep learning explainable AI generative AI large language models signal processing computer vision bioinformatics or related fields.The position will be located on Clemsons main campus Clemson South Carolina with a start date of August 15 2024.



PhD in Biomedical Engineering Bioengineering Electrical or Computer Engineering Computer Science or related Engineering and science discipline such as applied math applied physics and data science. Demonstrated excellence in research and innovation and a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Postdoctoral research experience is desired as well as research or training in areas such as machine learning and/or deep learning in a biomedical context signal processing and analysis for biomedical data bioinformatics computer vision or other related areas.
