Weyerhaeusers (Engineered Lumber Products) Timberstrand manufacturing Plant located on beautiful Lake of the Woods in Kenora Ontario is currently seeking permanent fulltime HeavyDuty Mechanic. Our plant manufactures the high strength engineered wood product Timberstrand in a 24/7 operations nonunion manufacturing environment. We offer a competitive total compensation and flexible benefits package. With a competitive starting wage at $48.12.

As part of the team at our Timber Strand mill you will undertake work that ranges from trouble shooting to general preventative maintenance including general equipment repairs as well as project related work.

General duties including but not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment issues
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Use SAP for Materials and Work Order Management
• Keep work area and equipment in a safe clean and orderly condition
• Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner
• Complete all jobs in a timely manner

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification Preferred.
• 3 5 Years in an industrial environment would be an asset.
• Basic Welding
• Proven analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Must be willing to work at heights
• Must be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule eg 4 10hour days 223day shift
