TL;DR
Our dynamic Finance team is looking for a proactive and detailoriented Staff Accountant to help keep our financial operations running smoothly. This role is more than just crunching numbers youll manage key accounting processes ensure accurate reporting and collaborate crossfunctionally to support business decisions. WHAT YOULL DO
- Take ownership of accounts receivable and account payable (AR/AP) Including invoicing dispute resolution vendor/customer communications
- Monitor AR Aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections
- Assist in financial close processes including preparing journal entries accruals and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger records through routine bookkeeping
- Support financial reporting efforts including variance analysis and reconciliations
- Collaborate with Accounting Manager and other stakeholders on ad hoc projects
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting and revenue recognition
- Experience with accounting software
- Such as: QuickBooks NetSuite Rippling Certify Vena or similar
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Think: Advanced formulas pivot tables financial modeling
- Basic knowledge of or interest in SaaS accounting standards
- Hands on experience working in Accounting or Finance
