Job Description

Job Summary
The FDU School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences FDU SoP&HS) is seeking an adjunct professor to teach the Sterile compounding laboratory course. Sterile compounding lab is laboratory component of the course Sterile Products and Biopharmaceuticals. The laboratory activities include aseptic techniques admixtures of injectable solutions ophthalmic and TPN preparations. There are three lab sessions on three different days each week. Each lab session meets for 2.5 hours during the day. The overall commitment is 6 weeks during the spring 2019 semester. This is a parttime position.

Required Qualifications
Position requirements: An advanced degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science Pharm.D or Ph.D. degree is strongly preferred. Working experience with sterile compounding and applicable regulations that affect pharmacy practice. Demonstrated experience and ability to adapt teaching to various learning styles and levels of learners are highly desirable. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
