Make a Difference
Orders receives and maintains adequate supplies of pharmaceuticals and supplies for utilization by pharmacy department. Responsible for managing inventory control of pharmaceuticals and related invoice documentation.
Your Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Uses inventory control strategies to maintain optimal levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Reconciles all purchase orders and processes invoices for timely payment.
Produces essential reports related to use of pharmaceuticals.
Maintains processes to ensure accurate cost and pricing information in databases.
Performs physical inventory to meet regulatory and hospital requirements.
Processes narcotic orders according to DEA regulations and hospital guidelines.
Performs medication compounding according to professional standards under the supervision of a pharmacist when necessary.
Individuals may not perform all of these duties or may perform additional related duties not listed here.
Hospital pharmacy experience required (Required).
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required (Required)
Required Certifications/Licensures: (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification or National Healthcare Association (NHA)
