Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
1. Designdeploy and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2instances VPCs load balancers and autoscaling groups.
2. Monitorand optimize system performance ensuring high availability reliability andfault tolerance.
3.Implement and maintain security measures to protect the integrity andconfidentiality of data including IAM roles security groups and encryption.
4. Manageand configure AWS services such as S3 RDS Route 53 CloudFront andCloudWatch.
5. Troubleshootand resolve infrastructure and system issues collaborating with developmentand operations teams.
6. Performregular system backups implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure dataintegrity.
7. Monitorand manage application and system logs analyzing trends and proactivelyaddressing potential issues.
8. Automateinfrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like AWSCloudFormation Terraform or Ansible.
9.Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand infrastructurerequirements provide technical guidance and support application deployments.
10. Stayuptodate with industry trends and advancements in AWS services systemadministration and DevOps practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1.Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or arelated field.
2. Provenexperience as an AWS and System Administrator or similar role with a minimumof 8 years of handson experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure andsystem operations.
3. Strongproficiency in AWS services including EC2 VPC S3 RDS IAM and CloudWatch.
4. Solidunderstanding of Linux/Unixbased systems and administration (e.g. UbuntuCentOS).
5.Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) for automation and systemmanagement tasks.
6.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormationTerraform or Ansible.
7.Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) andrelated orchestration tools is a plus.
8. Understandingof network protocols security principles and best practices for securing AWSenvironments.
9. Strongtroubleshooting and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complexissues and provide effective solutions.
10.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to workeffectively in a teamoriented environment.
