Information Management Services Macdill Air Force Base Tampa FL The Information Management Services assists the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the plans and policy directorate task area. The positions primary mission involves assisting and advising the COMUSMARCENT in jointlevel and servicelevel planning deliberate planning crisis action planning force deployment planning and requirements development validation and prioritization. The Information Services directly supports plans and policy under the MARCENT G5 including providing information management services on the management of internal and external information requirements to ensure the efficient of MARCENT OAMS tasks. The Information Management Services will perform the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide information management services for the G5.
- Coordinate with the MARCENT staff and action officers associated with the development and management of internal and external information requirements.
- Draft update collate and track information requirements associated with command systems recurring reports administrative actions and task management.
- Ensure currency of NIPR/SIPR Portal and Share Drive information execute SIPR to NIPR document transfers track tasks in multiple task management tools and update the Read Books.
- Collate weekly updates manage electronic calendars update email distribution lists collate monthly inputs to the Defense Readiness Reporting SystemMarine Corps (DRRSMC) system collate Command Chronology inputs and assist with DTS Travel Claims.
- Draft AMHS messages assist in the development and reconciliation of the Directorate Budget track military Awards submissions track and maintain appointment Letters update recall rosters/cards and track annual/fiscal training requirements.
- Track and update internal and external points of contact lists and provide requirements analyst support.
EDUCATION - HS diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum ten years of military experience.
- Experience managing information systems and requirements for internal and external communications. Familiarity with tools and platforms used for task tracking and document management.
- Proven ability to draft update collate and track documents related to command systems administrative actions and task management.
- Experience ensuring the currency of information on portals and share drives including document transfers between systems like SIPR and NIPR.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities - Possess full understanding and experience on the management of internal and external information requirements.
- Strong organizational skills for managing calendars tracking tasks and handling administrative actions such as travel claims and budget reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word Power Point Excel etc. desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS - Travel is required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid drivers license current automobile insurance and a driving record that is acceptable to the companys auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE - A Secret clearance is required for this position.
