To compliment this dynamic team we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for the Finance Department in our Ingram Micro Italy office near Milan (in Settala) reporting directly to our CFO.

We are growing fast and open to evaluate both junior and senior candidates ready to be part of an amazing environment in our Information Technology B2B market!

Responsibilities:

  • General ledger

  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

  • Good knowledge of vat law and its fulfillments

  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports

  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

  • Assist with accounting projects

  • Secures financial information by completing database backups

  • Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential

  • Einvoicing archiving activities

  • Manage and support auditor relationships

Requirements

  • 58 years work experience in accounting/finance in international and multinational companies

  • Excellent organizing abilities

  • Great attention to detail

  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen

  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (such as US GAAP)

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel

  • Good in writing and speaking English
