Job Description
Are youlooking for an opportunity to start your career in medical billing This entrylevel onsite position is a great opportunity for individuals who may be working towards amedical billing and coding certificate diploma or degree.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review medical records and place accounts into the appropriate work queue
- Request demographic and insurance information via phone fax or portal
- Maintain attendance as required
- Other jobrelated duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGEAND EXPERIENCE
- Recent formal training in Medical Billing a plus
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Detail oriented
- Computer literacy; Type minimum 35 WPM
- Motivated team player
