Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented Gardener / General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work environment in all areas of the company. The Gardener / General Maintenance Worker will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all facilities are kept clean and tidy.
Responsibilities:
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Restock supplies such as paper towels toilet paper and soap
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Respond to Maintenance requests
- Support Staff stores and deliveries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as furniture and equipment
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed
To be successful in the role of Cleaner you will have:
Current Police Check or acknowledge that a police clearance will need to be obtained
Current Flu Vaccination 2023
Have a passion for Aged Care
Have a professional manner and great attitude
Compliance to OHS and Aged Care legislation
Enjoy working in a team environment and can prioritize workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy
Evidence of right to work in Australia
