Due to an internal promotion we have a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role available within our Perth Support office. The role involves the development of financial models forecasts and budgets to support strategic decisionmaking. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure financial goals are met and risks are managed efficiently.
THE POSITION
- Develop and manage financial models forecasts and budgets to support strategic decisionmaking. Monitor performance against financial targets and analyse variances.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management highlighting key trends risks and opportunities. Reporting on key financial and nonfinancial metrics to Group will also be required.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive business strategy and operational efficiency.
- Assist with the budgeting process ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisation goals. Review and validate budget assumptions and outputs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial monthly accounts for overhead departments including recommending cost control measures to deliver efficiencies
- Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure financial practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement and monitor controls to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
THE PERSON
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in finance analyst role
- Bachelors degree plus professional qualification/postgraduate studies in Finance
- Advanced excel reporting and analysis skills essential
- Strong stakeholder management influencing and business partnering skills
- Exceptional written verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems
- Tableau or Power BI experience preferable
