CapB is looking for an MS SQL Database and Support Specialist to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our MS SQL databases performing TSQL programming triaging technical issues and handling customer support requests related to a legacy .NET application. This role requires a deep understanding of MS SQL Server proficiency in TSQL and excellent problemsolving skills to ensure high levels of performance and user satisfaction. This is a part time role with 20 hrs per week and may require a day in office at Denver each week for around 4 hrs. managers discretion can be 100 remote)
- Issue Triage and Technical Support: Act as the first point of contact for identifying and troubleshooting databaserelated issues. Prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner ensuring minimal impact on operations and customer satisfaction.
- Customer and Internal Support: Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets with technical guidance and solutions. Work closely with the agency to understand requirements and deliver support needed for database and application functionalities.
- TSQL Development: Develop and optimize TSQL queries stored procedures functions and triggers for data manipulation and to support application needs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation for database setups configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Proven experience in MS SQL Server database administration and TSQL programming.
- Strong understanding of database structures theories principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively triage and resolve complex database issues.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members.
- Familiarity with .NET framework and its integration with MS SQL Server
- Experience with case management systems
