At St Gemmas Hospice we are recruiting a Bank Ward Secretary to join our busy Clinical Administration team. We are looking for someone who would be available as and when needed to work full days weekdays and mornings on weekends or bank holidays.
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with the ability and confidence to work in a fastpaced ward environment. You will be interacting with patients relatives and healthcare professionals sensitively both facetoface and over the telephone at the same time providing high quality administrative support.
The postholder will have a personable manner combined with a keen attention to detail. Previous experience working with SystemOne or in a clinical environment would be an advantage; familiarity with Microsoft Office packages is essential.
St Gemmas Hospice is one of the leading hospices in the UK. It is a prominent and respected charity at the heart of the local community with a large range of specialist palliative and end of life care services. Over 300 staff across a 4acre site a retail hub and 26 charity shops work together with our volunteers to deliver the best possible experience and care to patients and families totally free of charge.

We offer care to patients families and carers in the Hospices InPatient Unit through the St Gemmas community team and at our OutPatients.
