Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR ServiceNow Senior Developer to join our team. In this role you will design develop and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform focusing on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements deliver innovative HR solutions and ensure the platforms functionality aligns with business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned ServiceNow professional to drive digital transformation in HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development:

Design develop and implement HR solutions within the ServiceNow platform including HRSD modules such as Case and Knowledge Management Employee Center Pro and Lifecycle Events.

Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate seamless integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g. Workday SuccessFactors LMS and custom platforms).

Develop and maintain flows business rules and UI policies to optimize the employee experience.

Technical Expertise:

Configure and manage ServiceNow HR applications including creation of custom forms tables reports and portal widgets.

Write and debug complex JavaScript Glide API and ServiceNow Flow Designer scripts to support advanced automation needs.

Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs SOAP APIs and transform maps.

Collaboration:

Work closely with HR teams business analysts and technical leads to gather requirements design solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups and review.

Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices for ServiceNow development.

Platform Optimization:

Perform system upgrades health checks and performance tuning to ensure the platform runs optimally.

Identify and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.

Recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and user experience.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure solutions comply with industry standards data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR SOX) and organizational policies.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all solutions and configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5 years of experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on HR Service Delivery (HRSD).

Advanced expertise in ServiceNow modules including HR Case Management Knowledge Management and Employee Center.

Proficient in JavaScript Glide API and workflow configuration.

Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and data transformation techniques.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.

Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow certifications such as:

Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Certified Implementation Specialist HR Service Delivery (CISHR)

Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) and their application within ServiceNow solutions.

Experience with other ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM ITOM) is a plus.

Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
