This Firewall Cybersecurity Engineer will provide support to a customer in Washington DC. This position requires previous experience in related IT security fields.
- Experience with system engineering computer science information systems engineering science or engineering management
- Demonstrated experience with deploying maintaining administrating and/or integratingFirewalls specifically Palo Alto
- Strong experience with Splunk and Trellix.
- Experience with deploying maintaining or integrating using cybersecurity tools includingSplunk/Splunk BackendElastic ACAS/Tenable Nessus Cisco FirePower FireEye NX Tanium or Cylance
- Linux and/or scripting experience (python or ansible) considered nice to have skill sets
- Knowledge of security architecture design and integration
- Ability to integrate cybersecurity engineering principles into infrastructure planning design and deployment
- Ability to meet schedule performance and quality within the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to provide onsite fulltime support in a client environment
- Active Top Secret clearance
- BA or BS degree and 14 years of experience in a professional work environment or MA MS or MBA degree and 12 years of experience in a professional work environment
